Continuing the House Freshman Meet and Greet series, ABA hosted Rep. Larry Bucshon (R-IN-8) on Thursday, February 9 for an informal discussion on business and food industry issues.
Overreach by the NLRB, transportation legislation and healthcare reform were topics of discussion.
Prior to being elected to Congress, Rep. Bucshon spent his life specializing in cardiothoracic surgery and has performed hundreds of heart surgeries and also served as President of Ohio Valley HeartCare.
As a Freshman Member of the 112th Congress, Rep. Bucshon serves on the House Agriculture and Education & Workforce Committees.
Attendees at the meet and greet included representatives from the National Confectioners Association, the American Meat Institute and General Mills.
