Political analyst, editor and publisher, Stuart Rothenberg, best known for his Washington-based, biweekly, political newsletter The Rothenberg Political Report and his twice weekly contributions to the Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call, will speak to the ABA & ATBI Boards at the upcoming Joint Board Dinner on October 1.
Rothenberg, who covers U.S. House, Senate and gubernatorial campaigns, Presidential politics and political developments, will provide an overview of the upcoming election and the current political climate of the country. “We’re very much looking forward to this presentation,” remarked ABA President & CEO Robb MacKie. “The timeliness of his objective analysis on the critical issues of this upcoming election will be invaluable for our Board members and guests.”
Mr. Rothenberg is renowned for his insightful, entertaining and captivating analysis of electoral politics, the issues facing the country and politics, itself. He has appeared on Meet the Press, This Week, Face the Nation, The NewsHour, Nightline and other programs. He is often quoted in the nation’s major media, and his op-eds have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal and several other publications. Mr. Rothenberg has also served as an on-air political analyst for CNN for over a decade, covering election nights from 1992 through 2004, and has been election night analyst for the Newshour on PBS in 2008 and in 2010, as well as for CBS News in 2006.
The 2012 Joint ABA & ATBI Boards of Directors Meeting and ABA Committee Meetings will be held from October 1-4, in Washington, D.C.
