Continuing the House Freshman Meet and Greet series, ABA hosted Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC-8) on Thursday, March 14 for an informal discussion on food industry issues.
Hudson currently serves on the Agriculture and Education & Workforce Committees in the United States House of Representatives.
Attendees at the meet and greet included representatives from Campbell’s Soup Co., the American Beverage Association, National Confectioner’s Association and the Grocery Manufacturers Association.
Topics of discussion included the House’s recently introduced budget legislation, reforming the domestic sugar program and the pending farm bill.
The next ABA Meet and Greet will be held April 10 with Rep. Luke Messer (R-IN-6).
