The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Preventing Greater Uncertainty in Labor-Management Relations Act, a bill seeking to rein in the NLRB following the D.C. Circuit Court’s ruling against President Obama’s so-called recess appointments in January 2012. This bill will annul all decisions made by the NLRB since January 2012 and will prevent the NLRB from making new decisions until Board members have been dully appointed by Congress. ABA urged members of the House to support this bill, making it a priority vote (key vote) for the 113th Congress.
