The American Bakers Association (ABA) is excited to announce that Curt Steinhorst will be speaking at the 2014 Summer ABA HR and Labor Conference, July 22-24, Chicago, Ill. “Curt was one of the top rated speakers at the 2014 ABA Convention, and his message on how to better connect with Gen Y is something that every baker needs to hear,” said Cory Martin, ABA Director of Government Relations and liaison to the ABA HR Committee. “We’ve invited Curt to spend a couple of hours at the upcoming conference exploring specifics on how bakers can engage with the next generation of industry leaders.”
Curt is a certified speaker at The Center for Generational Kinetics, an organization whose founder has been featured on 60 Minutes, 20/20, The Today Show and The View. At age 20, Curt was elected President of his 10,000-member class at Texas A&M University. Since graduating magna cum laude, he has worked extensively to make the most of generational strengths in a variety of organizations. His speaking style has wowed audiences of up to 20,000 from California to New York and Africa. Curt’s personal experiences leading Gen Y and direct work with top performers make him a powerful communicator for bridging the generations.
“If you were not able to have your talent management leaders attend the ABA Convention, you won’t want to miss this opportunity,” added Martin. “Curt’s message on crossing the generational divide will undoubtedly help every member attending to improve their connectivity with not only Gen Y, but every generation represented in the workforce.”
