Kansas State University continues to seek a new Professor and Head for the Department of Grain Science and Industry. The current head of the department and Director of the International Grains Program, Dirk Maier, is an award-winning researcher and educator who will be assuming a new role within KSU’s College of Agriculture. The Department of Grain Science and Industry is internationally recognized and the only department in the U.S. to offer bachelor’s degrees in bakery, feed, and milling science and management, as well as graduate degrees in grain science.
As a member of the Department of Grain Science & Industry Advisory Board, ABA President and CEO Robb MacKie will be participating on the search committee for the new department head.
