Todd Hale, retail insights thought leader and former Senior Vice President, Consumer and Shopper Insights with Nielsen, will share the results of his ABA-exclusive research on the impact of baking in the retail and foodservice marketplaces. During this session, “The Power of Bakery Categories,” Todd will discuss his deep dive research on the baked goods category’s strength and growth that makes it the number one retail driver. His presentation will be followed by a panel of retail and restaurant customers who will provide feedback and observations on his research, as well as the economic and market impact on both retail grocery and foodservice customers.
“Hearing Todd’s research inspired us to create the “Power of Baking” theme for Convention,” said Robb MacKie, ABA President and CEO. “I am confident that attendees will not want to miss this insightful session on why baking continues to be one of America’s most powerful industries.”
