On March 21, during the Morning Business Session, the former Nielsen SVP of Consumer and Shopper Insights will explore the importance of wellness claims to the bakery category, as well as the continued impact indulgence categories are having on sales levels. Mr. Hale’s presentation, “What’s in Store for 2016 and Beyond,” will also examine which categories – private label or brands – are driving the greatest growth.
“While Todd has addressed the ABA audience before, the data he has gathered this year will take us on a new conversation focusing on issues that the ABA membership has identified as critical to the industry,” said ABA President and CEO Robb MacKie.
Mr. Hale has more than 37 years of experience in the consumer research industry, including 30 years with Nielsen, where he held various marking and sales management positions within advertising/product testing, advanced analytics, and consumer panel practice areas. He is a frequently sought-after industry and client speaker. Mr. Hale shares his insights on consumer shopping, buying, and media consumption behaviors and attitudes to provide manufacturers and retailers with strategic visions to facilitate brand, category, and retail sales growth.
