ABA was honored to host a meet and greet for food industry executives with Sen. Todd Young, who was elected to the Senate in November in one of the country’s most hotly contested races.
Attendees from the National Confectioners Assn, Grocery Manufacturers Assn, ADM, American Frozen Food Institute and others took part in discussions at ABA Headquarters focused on corporate tax reform, the impending ACA (Obamacare) repeal vote in the House as well as the outlook for the 115th Congress and Trump Administration.
Sen. Young serves on four very important Senate Committees including: Health, Education Labor & Pensions; Commerce, Science & Transportation; Foreign Relations and Small Business & Entrepreneurship.
Before being elected to the Senate, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives as well as a Captain in the United States Navy.
