Commodity and Agriculture Committee Icon

The Commodity and Agricultural Policy Committee (CAPC) sets industry policy on various aspects of agriculture issues impacting bakers. ABA commodity and agrcultural issues for 2011 and 2012 include:

  • Reforming the current U.S. sugar program
  • Reducing acreage in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP)
  • Addressing today's extreme market volatility

Achieving these goals will help to ensure an adequate supply of critical ingredients for the industry, as well as help bakers financially plan for their future.
