How do I register? ABA has an all new online registration process using Cvent registration. Registration for the 2013 convention is scheduled to open in early January.
Is there a registration deadline?
Registration is open throughout the convention. However, we recommend that you register by March 29 to ensure that badges and materials are available for you when you arrive.
Do I have to be a member of ABA to attend the convention?
No. The ABA Convention is open to ABA members and non-members. ABA members, however, receive a significant discount on their registration.

Will I receive my badge before the convention?
You will pick up your badge at the ABA Registration/Information Desk.
What should I expect when I arrive? Where do I go? The ABA Registration/Information Desk opens Saturday, April 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the East Foyer Desk. ABA staff is on hand to review conference materials with you, answer any questions you may have.
What materials will I receive when I sign in at the registration table? You will receive your name badge (and any guest badges); any conference ribbons; a detailed program of events; a welcome amenity; and a wine gift. You may also receive special notices in your packet.
What do the different ribbons signify? Red – ABA Staff; Blue – ABA Officers and Board Members; Cream – Past ABA Chair; Yellow – Convention Sponsors; Maroon – First-Timers; Red/White/Blue – ABA PAC Contributors; Brown – Grain Foods Foundation Investors; White – Speaker; Green – Press
I want to be introduced to a particular member. How can I make this happen? Simply introduce yourself. You will find all ABA members to be very inviting. If you are looking to meet someone from the roster, simply ask a member of the ABA team to find him or her for you and make an introduction.
I noticed there are many ABA committees. How can I find out more? When am I eligible to join? How do I join? Joining a committee can greatly enhance your ABA membership experience. Visit the ABA Registration/Information Desk or the ABA website Committee Page for information.
How can I get a copy of the ABA Convention Attendee List? A full list of the ABA Convention attendees will be posted on the ABA Web site a few weeks before the meeting. Additionally, the list will be e-mailed to you before the start of the convention.
If I have further questions during the convention, who should I ask? Look for a member of the ABA team – wearing a red “staff” ribbon. He or she will be happy to answer your questions. Additionally, you will find all ABA Convention attendees very helpful, as many have attended the convention for decades.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Full refunds will be given for cancellations received in writing by March 16, 2012. 50% refund will be given for cancellations received March 17-30. Golf fees are refundable for cancellations received no later than April 1, 2013. Delegating a substitute from the same company is permissible.
