About ABAABA MeetingsCommitteesLegislative/RegulatoryNewsABA PAC

The American Bakers Association has a variety of Committees that work to promote the interests of the wholesale baking industry before state officials, the United States Congress and federal agencies. Committee members and the ABA staff help to ensure that the legislative and regulatory needs of the baking industry are met and the baking industry's voice is heard and recognized in Washington, DC.

ABA strongly encourages its member companies to actively participate in the Committee process. Committee members have the opportunity to hear from Members of Congress, federal regulators and technology experts. This exposure gives ABA members first-hand information and prepares them to take action in the workplace. At Committee meetings, open forums allow attendees to freely exchange information and advise one another on how to meet compliance demands in their facilities. Committee participation truly benefits not only individual companies, but the baking industry as a whole.
