Innovation Opportunities for School Meal Programs
USDA Economic Research Service’s nutrition expert, Dr. Joanne Guthrie, will discuss product innovation partnership opportunities to enhance school children’s consumption of whole grain products. Dr. Guthrie is one of the authors of a recent Journal of Prevention Medicine article that researched schoolchildren’s wholegrain consumption trends in the school meal program from 1998 – 2014.
